The color is natural, weathered cement that has lots of nice green, established lichen patina on it. There is a hole running thru the center axis of the statue, up and out the fish's mouth, so it is fountain ready if you choose to hook it up to water as a birdbath centerpiece, etc. (Fountain apparatus is not included but can be found at Lowe's or Home Depot garden centers.)
