VINTAGE CHAS STADDEN CRIES OF LONDON BUCKINGHAM PEWTER PRIMROSE SELLER FIGURE Description This vintage circa 1950's-70's Buckingham pewter Cries of London primrose seller figure, is nicely modelled by Chas C Stadden. The poor street vendor girl is dressed in 19th century clothing and carrying a packet basket of flowers and standing on a cobbled plinth base marked on a shield 'Cries of London and on a banner 'two bunches a penny primroses'. This lovely little figure in signed on the top of the plinth 'Chas C Stadden' and underneath the base 'Buckingham Pewter' with the company pewter tough marks and 'Made in England'. It is in good condition with some traces of gilding, it is a heavy solid figure. Weight 220 grams, height 10.4cm. Please email us should you have any questions.
