Vintage Charcoal Gray Jadeite Necklace 14KI am selling this as part of my good friend's estate. She started collecting in the early 1980's and never stopped until the very end...I will be selling pieces of her collection through the next few months. I have been a Seller on eBay for 16 years, prompt shipping and every item is always insured.I don't know much about this necklace, I am assuming that it had belonged to my friend's mother. I took it into my local jewelry store to find out what it was, figuring that if it had a 14K clasp that it must be something good. They told me that it was a seldom seen color of jadeite, a natural color usually referred to as "charcoal". Badly in need of restring I left it with them to have it done...using the original clasp... She had so much stuff that I can't keep everything straight...no history...no memories...time to let go...it is in great condition, measures 24" in length...the beads measure approximately 8MM. All natural color, I love that there is a slight "shade" difference among the beads...giving it a great "richness".
