Vintage BRIDGWOOD China Milk Jug ROSE Hand Painted ART NOUVEAU C.1915 Gorgeous!! Victorian and Vintage Description - This is a gorgeous china milk jug that was crafted by Sampson Bridgwood & Sons at the Anchor Pottery in Longton, Staffordshire around 1915. The jug has a white background and is decorated with gorgeous hand painted pink roses with green foliage. the roses feature as a border with black jewelled swags in between each rose - stunning!!! The brim also has a broad gold band with fine black trims, creating a real touch of elegance. The jug is finished with fine gold trims. The overall effect is truly stunning!!! The jug would serve especially well at a vintage wedding or tea party. I ALSO HAVE OTHER MATCHING ITEMS ON OFFER!!! A gorgeous example of Art Nouveau hand painted tea ware !!! Dimensions - The jug measures 3.6" (9 cm) deep and 4.6" (11.5 cm) from spout to handle. Markings - The base bears the makers backstamp and the registration number - 647031 = 1915. Condition - The jug is in great condition - there are no chips, cracks or crazing. The gold trims are also in good condition with only light wear. Please see photographs for extra descriptive detail.
