YOU ARE BIDDING ON A VINTAGE HENRY COEHLER BLACK FOREST CARVED CUCKOO CLOCK FOR RESTORATION. CLOCK HAS BRASS MOVEMENT BOTH BELLOWS ARE GOOD. WHEN PULLING DOWN ON THE CHAINS BOTH THE TIME AND THE CUCKOO WORKS. NO HOLES IN BELLOWS. MISSING SUSPENSION SPRING ON CLOCK. MOVEMENT MARKED HENRY COEHLER GERMANY. CASE MARKED WEST GERMANY. HAS PENDULUM AND ORIGINAL CHAIN. NO WEIGHTS. DO NOT KNOW IF IT IS AN EIGHT DAY OR ONE DAY MOVEMENT. THE "2" "3" AND "11" NUMBERS ARE LOOSE BUT PRESENT, NEED TO BE GLUED BACK ON. THE "9" IS MISSING. CASE IS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH NO MISSING OR CRACKED PARTS. BIRDS ARE PARTICULARY NICE WITH WHAT APPEARS TO BE GLASS EYES. CARVING IS GOOD AND ALMOST THREE DIMENSIONAL. BEAKS ARE LONG AND POINTED. THE TOP IS MISSING. DIMENSIONS: 15.5 INCHES LONG NOT INCLUDING THE PENDULUM, 12.5 INCHES WIDE, AND 6 INCHES DEEP. A GREAT CLOCK TO RESTORE WITH NOT MUCH WORK. ADD TOP, WEIGHTS, GLUE THE NUMBERS BACK ON, CLEAN AND OIL AND THAT'S IT. THANKS AND GOOD LUCK.
