VINTAGE AVON FAUX AMETHYST VICTORIAN NECKLACEThis shiny gold tone necklace is in great vintage condition including the metal. The neck chain is about 22" long and closes with a spring ring clasp. The oval pendant is 3 1/2" long including the fringe tassel which is comprised of 11 chain sections in a top cap. The tassel swings freely. The faux amethyst stone is deep purple with lovely faceting (see the photo of the back view). It is ringed with a strand of faux white seed pearls. It has a rope frame and open back to let the light through. It is signed Avon on the back, called Purple Pendant from 1972. All measurements are approximate. A really pretty Victorian look.
