Up for auction is a vintage tropical print sleeveless shift dress from the late 1950's or 60's by Pomare Hawaii. It is a pretty gold cotton type fabric with a tropical palm tree & beach pattern-- the palm trees are a light bright aqua and there are deep yellow pools of water and clouds shading an aqua setting sun; there is a slit neckline with sides folded back to form a v-neckline with a bow at the bottom; it has a polyester zipper up the back; the length is just about at the knees (this is on me-- I am 5'6"). The tag does not state the size, but this seems to be a modern 11/12 or 13/14, should fit a large (I take an 8- I can fit into it, but it is too big-- see measurements). Laid out flat it measures: 15 1/4" shoulder to shoulder across the back, 20 1/2" underarm to underarm, 22" waist, 26" hip, 69 sweep (around bottom hem), 40" length from shoulder to hem, and 31 1/2" underarm to hem. (Compare these measurements to a dress that fits you to know if this one will fit). There are no stains or strong odors I can find anywhere on this garment as it was only gently worn but it is not perfect as it is vintage . I only mention this as I am very picky & want to be as detailed as possible in my description so that you know what to expect. Overall it is in very good vintage wearable condition.
