Lovely 40s / 50s housewife tea dress in cool comfortable cotton, in a gorgeous bright red colour patterned with tiny white polka dots, blue and white gingham rectangles and yellow roses. The dress has a classic and very flattering shape, with a v neck, cute short sleeves and a nipped in waist flaring out to an A-line knee length skirt. It fastens with cute white buttons down the front, and the print is really lovely and unusual. It looks as though it may be handmade so it's difficult to know exactly how old it is, but the style is 40s or 50s. The sort of thing Betty Draper in Mad Men might wear while doing some baking! This beautiful and unique find would best fit a UK size 10. This dress would be perfect dressed up a spring wedding or any special party - but also great for day wear with flats and a cute cardi.I'm clearing out a lot of lovely clothes before leaving the country, so please check my other items for more vintage and high street bargains!x
