This is a Vintage 1953 Westclox Baby Ben Style 6 plain face alarm clock in an ivory metal case with brass trim, made in LaSalle, Ill. U.S.A. The Baby Ben Style 6 was in production from 1949 to 1956. The clock was disassembled as shown and the case was cleaned and polished. The inner case was cleaned. The glass crystal, which has some scratches, was cleaned and polished. The brass movement was cleaned and oiled. Stamped into the movement is the date of manufacture, 9 53 (Sep. 1953). The clock runs quietly and keeps accurate time. The alarm works accurately but the spring is broken inside. It will partially wind up and work, but if it is wound too far , it will slip inside. The clock measures 3 1/2" in diameter and is 3 5/8" high and 2" deep. Please study the photos for condition. Although the clock is working well now, other than the issue with the alarm, I can not offer a guaranty due to it's age and it is sold as is.
