You are bidding on an original 1950stable lamp. The lampshade is made of an opaque mint green plastic dome, decorated with a simple swirl pattern and finished with a chrome top. It has perforations for ventilation. The curved stem is made of a chrome rod and the lampshade is threaded through its top thanks to a small chrome bracket. The base is made of mint green plastic and comprises a sphere in which the stem is fixed, and a circular base. The lamp is in good/fair condition and in full working order. There is a 6cm vertical crack on the side of the lampshade. There are an additional two cracks (1cm and 1.5cm long) on the base above the wire and underneath the stem. There are also age related scratches and marks on the rest of the lamp. However, these do not interfere with the overall look of the piece. The lamp takes one small Edison screw (screw fit) bulb and is fitted with a UK plug. As with all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician.
