The patterning was hand painted and in areas hand carved into the platter. Rare kidney shaped platter is very hard to find. Clearly marked on the bottom. This pattern was made from 1955 to 1978. Wonderful vintage heavy pottery platter! measures 14" long by 11" wide. This platter has 1 chip on the underside of edge. Cannot be scene unless turned upside down. Chip is not shape.
