Lot of 3 vintage collectible pinback buttons :1) ... I GO POGO copyright 1956 , signed WALT KELLY . Features image of head of Pogo the anthropomorphic possum who was the main character in Kelly's classic newspaper comic strip that took place in the Okefenokee Samwp - along with a memorable cast that included Albert the Alligator, Howland Owl, Churchy LaFemme, Beauregard, Porkypine, Mamzelle Hepzibah, etc.. Green Duck Company of Chicago printed on edge of pin. No paper insert. Approximately 1" diameter. Very good condition for age. View all photos.2) ... ZIPPY 4 PRESIDENT. Marked on edge copyright Griffith , Ephemera, Inc. Full color Zippy image. Zippy is the comic strip character created by underground cartoonist Bill Griffith who was a key figure in the underground comic movement of the 1960's and 70's. His earliest comic strips were East Village Other and Screw, he co-founded Arcade with Art Spiegelman and his work was published in the National Lampoon, High Times, The New Yorker, The New York Times, and The Village Voice. The pin is approximately 1 1/4" diameter. This is not new - have not found any similar pins for date reference - probably from the 1970's. Excellent condition.3) ...
