Vintage Pfaltzgraff USA "Village" 16 oz. (2 Cup) Handled Gravy Server or Sauce Boat No. 434 With Underplate - Very Good Condition Offered is an original vintage Pfaltzgraff USA "Village" 16 oz. (2 Cup) Handled Gravy Server or Sauce Boat No. 434 With Underplate that is in very good condition. The Village pattern that was manufactured in the USA commenced being manufactured in 1976 and features a brown design on cream stoneware. As shown in the photographs, the gravy server or sauce boat has the brown verge around the top edge - the underplate has the brown Village graphics as well as the brown bands and verge. As noted above, this handled gravy server or boat holds 16 oz. (which equals 2 Cups) of liquid and measures 8 1/2" from tip of handle to opposite edge; the bottom of the gravy server measures 5" in diameter; 2 3/4" tall - the underplate measures 6 7/8" in diameter and 3/4" deep. The bottom of the handled gravy boat is marked with the vintage Pfaltzgraff USA mark with the castle in a circle above and "434" beneath the mark - the underplate has the incised Pfaltzgraff USA mark with the castle in a circle above. As noted above, both the gravy boat or sauce server and the underplate are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing - the Village graphics and brown verge are in excellent condition - colorful, clear, crisp, read more
