Viking Battle Axe, Sharp, Good Quality26.25" Overall, 13.5" Cutting Edge, 7" Head Width •••As far as I know there’s no exact historical basis for this design unless you count the bearded axe of Gimli in LoTR, but it combines the best features of the iconic bearded and Danish axes that are instantly recognizable as Viking weapons. Good solid costume piece for display, re-enactment, stage combat or cosplay but not intended for hard use. The railroad tie I used for photos is old and dry and you can see it's fine for that.
