OldSetVictorian PINK/WHITE GlassSHAKERSHobbs & Brockunier "Acorn" Approx Measurements3"H BY 2 1/4 " WWeight 5oz I do not own a reference book on Salt/Pepper Shakers and am using the owner's original labels as a guide. If a pattern/maker is misidentified, gentle guidance is appreciated and welcomed. This is a charming shaker set. I am attributing it to Hobbs & Brockkunier Co. Certainly could use a soft cleaning which I have not done and am selling this shaker exactly as purchased at auction. Came from a superb family estate auction held in the Midwest and is part of a much larger private collection of shakers purchased at auction. Owner collected shakers, shakers, and shakers...and amassed quite a few spanning over 30 years. She meticulously marked/labeled and painstakingly catalogued every single shaker or set for reference in her collection. She was not a dealer, but just a private collector who truly appreciated and found beauty in shakers as artistic pieces. She took great pride in caring for her entire collection. I admired her for this. I thought her tiny labels/tags/notes most endearing and used her tags and labels as my reference source. I have her labels intact and have not removed. She called this pattern, "Acorn". Verigated pink to white. One shaker( flat top) is slightly darker pink in colour than its partner. Condition read more
