This handsome family photo of four fashionable well behaved children is a carte de visite or CDV photograph popular during the 1860s and has a brown sepia tone. It comes framed in an oval dark mahogany wood grain picture frame from "O'hara's Art Shop Philadelphia, PA." sticker on the back. The frame measures 11 inches long, 9 inches wide and is 32 inches in circumference. It is in good condition, with only a few nicks on the frame and the paper backing is mostly missing. This is truly a wonderful example of early American antique Victoriana children's photography and dress!Items are described as accurately as possible, sold as found, possibly having some imperfections and flaws.
