These are very unusual pair of trousers by VERSUS Gianni Versace circa 1989-90. Made in Italy, beautifully tailored with 5-pocket jeans styling in a super supple viscose-blend fabric. Under the Versus label is the garment maker's label in soft rayon, a sample label from the famous company Ittierre S.P.a. of Italy who at the time was in contract with not just Versace, but Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and the usual suspects of the 1990s with their own high-end, ready-to-wear lines like Versus. It states "Mod._11120, Art._447, Comp._64% VI 36% PL (64% rayon viscose and 36% polyester), Note_ eol"The first close up picture is closest to the real life color on my monitor. The pictures showing the whole garment don't do justice to the rich colors in person, but mean to show the cut and shape of the garment.The size is 34/48. 48 in Italy means "Large" but remember that Italian sizes run smaller compared to American sizes. Inseam laid flat measures about 33.5 inches. Front rise is around 11 (medium rise). The fabric is not stretchy. Measuring all around the inside waist band appears to be 32 inches. Flat across front hips is approximately 20 inches, so approximately 40 inches inside.Excellent, they appear like new without any pilling and no telltale horizontal creases at waistband.
