Ukrainian Nesting Dolls Matryoshka FAMILY WITH POULTRY set of 5pcs, 3 1/2" Hi! I am an Ukrainian artist. I live and work in Kyiv. This set of 5 nesting dolls is painted by myself according to old Ukrainian traditions. This matryoshka depicts a ukrainian farmer family with poultry. Parents and daughter are worn in national Ukrainian dress. The largest matryoshka ("Mama") is 3 1/2" (93 mm) and the smallest one ("Chicken") is some smaller then 1" (23 mm). Each doll opening up like a box and nesting a smaller one inside. Please, pay your attention that even on the smallest matryoshka all miniature detailes are painted very thoroughly. You may use this doll like beautiful decoration, wonderful souvenir or interesting and instructive toy for your children. According to old tradition, a nesting doll is the symbol of continues family generations and maternity. I believe my Matryoshka will bring warmth and joy in your house. Be happy !!!
