Cayman Islands, British West Indies.ky12 : Dark Tortuga Dark Rum; Cayman Islands B.W.I.; 1 Litre; 98 proof, 49% alc./vol.; A product of Fine West Indian Rums; Blended & Bottled in Jamaica, W.I. for Tortuga Rum Company Limited, Cayman Islands, British West Indies.By the way, you can't fly with 151 proof rum any more, because it's over the 70% alcohol limit imposed by the FAA. Tortuga started making 140 proof rum, to meet the new regulations, and that's what you'll find in the airport duty free shops. It was made in 1994, it was AGED 5 years, bought in 1999 making this Rum over 27 years old! It gets better with AGE. Unavailable in the U.S. until recently in 2013. Unopened in NM+ Condition!!B
