TONKA HYDRAULIC TRUCK. THE HYDRAULIC LIFT WORKS SLOWLY AS IT WAS MEANT TO. IT IS IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE TOO WITH SOME WEAR IN THE BED. IT HAS A FEW OTHER SCRAPES AND BUMPS ON SOME HIGH SPOTS BUT NOT BAD. IT NEEDS THE RETURN SPRING FOR BEDS' RELEASE LEVER. IT IS SOMEWHAT RARE AS THIS WAS THE ONLY EARLY BLUE HYDRAULIC DUMP. THE 1962 AND 1963 WERE RED.THIS IS THE FIRST YEAR FOR THE BLUE COLOR AND THIS TRUCK HAD PLASTIC INSERTS FOR WHITE WALLS FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME TOO. ALL EARLIER ONES HAD RUBBER WHITE WALL RINGS. YOU WILL LIKE THIS TOY AS IT IS ALL ORIGINAL AND STILL FAIRLY SHINY WITH MINIMAL CLEANING AND NO WAXING ON MY PART. THERE ARE SOME FRECKLES ON THE HUBCAPS.
