TIFFANY Trompe L'oeil Figural Egg JarBy Este - RARE Collectible Ceramic.This is a ceramic figural box or jar in the form of two eggs stop a stack of plates. One egg is peeled the other in pink is in the process of being peeled, with bits of shell on the plate. The eggs function as handles for the lid of the jar.Realistic appearance makes for a fun piece to add to any room.This is a vintage Mid-century piece and does have some chipping in the side. A hairline crack extends from the bottom of the wall of the jar to the top rim. It is difficult to detect but is there (see photos). Despite these flaws, this remains functional and aesthetically pleasing.Item measures 6.25" inches wide and nearly 5" inches high to the top of the eggs.
