THE BEATLES "Yesterday and Today" ST 2553 - Original Capital Recording - Rare Stereo 1966 HIT ALBUMN Original and Replacement Cover ------------------------------------------------------------------- Oh my goodness - It doesn't get any better than this! you have a 1966 Classic Beatles albumn Recording on the CAPITAL LABEL! Not sure if this is the RARE Pasteover version since you can not see Ringos' black v-neck shirt through the pasteover. Who says you can never go back?!!! Now you can - and this record sounds as nice as it did when it was pressed in 1966 - lots of hit songs on this albumn. Albumn cover has seen its better days - has tape on the left side and Andy Kaufman written at the top - Andy Kaufman the comedian ?? The record is in EXCELLENT condition and plays great with no skips and STEREO! Original Sleeve - the sleeve is in like new condition. ORIGINAL BLACK "RAINBOW" (SPECTRUM) CAPITOL LABEL WITHOUT THE 'SUBSIDIARY' INSCRIPTION ALONG THE PERIMETER OF THE LABEL. is the History: On June 14, 1966 Capitol Records released Yesterday and Today by The Beatles in the United States. The cover featured a picture taken by Robert Whitaker which had The Beatles in butcher smocks and covered with pieces of meat and parts of baby dolls.
