Up for bid is a 1872 sword in as found condition. From what I have read, it's a Cavalry model 1872 Officer's Saber. I find no names or numbers. It measures 37 1/2” long, the blade is 32” and with it in the scabbard it is 38 1/2” long. It was found in an attic and is in this untouched condition.
