10.75x15-7/8" artboard has pen and ink original art by Curt Swan (1920-1996), w/inks by Bob Oksner (1916-2007). Art is from same issue as previous lot and art from story page 17 continues Superman's battle w/Solarman in eight panels, w/Solarman's solar receptors catching fire from stress of battle at end. Superman is pictured in six panels. Top margin has stamped title and inked issue/page numbers and publication month. Back has Superman pencil preliminary statue sketch as well as DC copyright stamp. Swan has signed last panel in black felt tip pen. Last panel has text strip replacement w/tape on back. Scattered handling wear/aging w/aged strip of tape at top/bottom center margin. Art remains clean and Exc.
