This is an exquisite Vine Leaf example with ornate detail, reading a pierced SHERRY A well proportioned shape, which measures 60mm across by 47mm high and weighs 12.2 grams. A wonderful, antique, solid silver gem to enhance any collection! . Hallmarks As you can see all the hallmarks are beautifully crisp, clean and well struck Makers Mark - SS - Samuel Smily from the Goldsmith Alliance Ltd Company Duty Mark - Queen Victoria Lion Standard - .925 Sterling Silver London Date letter 'S' for 1873 London Assay Mark - Leopard Condition I suggest this decanter label is in fantastic condition for it's age but please make your own judgment from the photographs shown.
