A good Derby figure!Measures approx 5 inches tall.Tracked shipping, UK(insured) £8, Europe £10, USA £12. A seated boy, with fruit basket, holding aloft a bunch of grapes, perhaps representative of Autumn.Nice bright painted details to costume.Slight restoration.Bears the Crown crossed batons and "D" mark, with "S,H" for Stevenson and Hancock, circa 1860.The factory was formed from potters and artists from the Bloor factory, that closed in 1848.One of the last few English figures produced in the grand 18thC style, that were becoming too expensive to produce. The factory became part of Royal Crown Derby,in 1935.Lovely little collectors piece, * NO RESERVE! * Please view my other fine porcelains, including Meissen ,Sevres,Berlin .Paris,Sampson ,Staffordshire,Derby 18thC,Bow etc..many at NO RESERVE !Happy to combine shipping. I nearly always have auctions running, and aim to offer items of beauty ,quality and rarity from a few pounds to several hundreds. If you have enjoyed viewing my latest selection, who not add me to your browser favourites,or ebay favourite seller list.
