This is the FINEST antique Victorian circa 1890 Scottish Celtic design enamel brooch I have listed on E Bay. This is a truely fabulous piece with stunning attention to detail and amazing quality! The celtic designs are breathtaking with some wonderful exquisite engraving work. The brooch has extensive black and white enamel cover with only some areas of wear as to be expected with this type and age of brooch with only minor chipping or enamel loss. The brooch has no hallmarks which is fairly normal for pieces from this period but has been fully tested and is sterling silver. The length is large at 5.0 cm ( Two inches ) and the very strong pin and C clasp are in good working condition and original. The brooch has it's original safety chain and pin.
