This auction is for a Superb Antique Salopian Polychrome Soft Paste Saucer Bowl made circa 1820 in Staffordshire England in the Fallow Deer Pattern.The pattern depicts a stag in a meadow with a farmhouse in the background with a floral border design hand colored under the glaze in blue, orange, green and yellow and a blue edging.The saucer measures 5 1/2 inches across and 1 inch tall.It is in Very Good condition, especially for being nearly two centuries old.There decorations are coloring are clear and vivid. There are no chips or cracks or damage with the exception of two small fleabites in the underside table foot ring (last photo).The piece would make a Great addition to any collection.I am selling many other antique Staffordshire items and will combine shipping whenever possible.Check out my other items!I charge actual shipping and will send this either by USPS Priority Mail or by FedEx Ground, whichever is less expensive.
