This is a superb quality Gold Plate Open Faced Pocket Watch by Waltham USA, the pure white Face that has black Numerals and blued metal Hands The nicely embossed Watch Case is in lovely condition, there is no wear to the gold plating, that is "Warranted to wear perminently" The Back is UNSCREWED to reveal a quality 21 jewelled Waltham Movement identified, Crescent Street Waltham Mass. and is serial numbered 14024096, which dates it at 1906 (Check out the Micro-adjuster) Crown wound it winds well runs strongly and keeps good time Note, the Hands are set by unscrewing the Bezal, extending the lever at 1 and rotating the Crown, (it sounds complicated but it isn't) On the reverse is a very attractive scroll based design with a Cartouche bearing the initials CHW The Pocket Watch measures 2.0 inches diameter excluding the Crown and Loop, this is a super Waltham Classic Please excuse the reflections and shadows in the Pictures
