SUPER ANTIQUE FRENCH OAK BRETON 4 FOOT SMALL DOUBLE BED Search Prev Stop Play Next French Oak Double Bed This beautiful antique French oak Breton 4 foot double bed is in very good condition and would date to the early 1900s. With it's Celtic overtones, both the head and foot board have a series of carvings which is typical of the region.. The side rails bolt in to the head and foot boards to give a very firm and secure fixing. As with all French beds, it comes with no base, but slats can be made for an extra �55.00. This is a super bed which would fit well in any setting, traditional or modern. The bed has been polished with 3 coats of wax giving a warm inviting patination. This bed will easily take a modern 4 foot small double mattress and measures; 47.75 inches wide 78 inches long 51 inch head board 28 inch foot board The cost to deliver this bed to England, Wales and Scotland (Glasgow to Edinburgh) is �75.00.
