Up for bids , with no reserve is a nice Sterling Silver, Souvenir Spoon Depicting the Battle of Gettysburg in the bowl of the Spoon with GETTYSBURG JULY, 1863 along the bottom of the bowl. Midway up the handle on the back is the mark, STERLING, F. A. WHITNEY. The handle is a finely detailed Figural Union Solder, Holding his rifle in front of him. The back side of the soldier is also finely detailed with his Belt Pack reading US. It measures 5.75" long. It is in nice over-all condition. Some wear to the rim of the spoon, and one tiny kink on the edge, but otherwise its perfect. It doesnt look to have ever been polished or buffed in any way. I left it the way it was when I obtained it. I think my pictures below show it very accurately. Any questions, please e-mail me. All of my auctions are as described or your money back.
