Sizes range from 1.25" to 3.5". All feature unauthorized use of images or slogans inspired by the popularity of the movie, most from the first years of release of A New Hope, 1977-78. All saw very limited production. All are from the famed button collection of Marshall Levin, who was not only a collector but a button historian and he made notations on some of the metal backs as to year made, number produced, etc. Most feature a play on the famous phrase "May The Force Be With You" some in a promotional way, others in a humorous vein. Three feature an image of R2-D2, one a riff on the famous droid, and one w/Darth Vader's head. All are Exc. to NM. Buttons include -- Wang/Star Warrior Eastern Sales/R1 D1. Includes image of R2-D2.
