Stained Glass Window Panel: ~~~ BRAMBLES ~~~

• • • • Brambles • ••• Up for bid is an original design, handmade stained glass panel that my husband and I created and constructed. It measures approximately 19 ½ x 16 3/4 inches. This panel is a twist and turn of colors and textures. One of my favorite bits of this panel is the swirling iridized black/clear baroque glass. Greens, ambers, red and a dark blue green add a spark of bright color to this design. Add to this a mix clear texture, a smoky cobble textured glass, a lively peachy/violet opalescent glass inner border surrounded by another elegant clear border and you have a complete our abstract interpretation: “Brambles”. This panel can be hung vertically or horizontally. Let us know if want extra holes drilled. Hope you enjoy this panel as much as we enjoyed designing and building it. Enjoy! This panel was constructed using the copper-foil method. Each piece was hand-cut, ground to fit, and then wrapped in copper-foil. The pieces were then soldered together. Patina was applied to darken the solder lines. Finally the piece was cleaned and polished for its new owner. Our panels are framed in zinc. Holes have been drilled into the frame for displaying. Rings and chains are included for ease in hanging. We carefully wrap and pack each panel for safe shipping. I have been working with stained glass for the past 15 years. My husband and I work together on our stained glass projects from beginning to end. It is a work that we both enjoy. We love knowing that our work is hanging in windows all over the country.
