New in the box (old stock) discontinued Spyderco Merlin # C08SBK made with ATS-55 steel in japan. The Merlin was originally manufactured from 1993 to 1995 as a lightweight alternative to the heavier stainless steel handled Harpy. The original Merlin has become very difficult to find anymore and highly collectible as a result. The fully serrated ATS-55 steel blade is very sharp and the FRN handle provides for a strong, lightweight knife which features a reversible steel pocket clip and ATS-55 steel blade. The traditional Hawkbill style blade provides exceptional cutting power with a minimal amount of effort for pulling cuts. Blade Steel: ATS-55 Blade Length: 2 7/8" Overall Length: 6 3/4" Blade Type: Serrated Handle Material: Black FRN Lock Type: Lockback Origin: Seki-City, Japan Weight : 1.75 oz
