I don't know why this is, however, I do ship worldwide so you are welcome to bid on any of the items.Offered in this sale is a heavy, hand thrown, glazed stoneware vase - vessel that I am assuming dates to the mid to later 1900s. I don't have a clue where or by whom this was made as it is not marked in any way other than an impressed circle on the outside edge near the base (see 2nd image). It so happens that this piece comes from the estate of the late Walter Bareiss who was a well known collector and the Director for many years of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. His taste and appreciation of the arts speaks for itself. This piece measures roughly 6 3/8" tall x 5 1/2" in diameter at its widest and weighs close to 2 3/4 pounds. The condition is excellent.
