11.75x12x11.5" deep box has text on front "Space Patrol Outer Space Plastic Helmet" and maker text on reverse "Toys Of Tomorrow, LTD." with Los Angeles address. This is the scarcer of two varieties, the premium version which has only text on box. Early 1950s. Sets sold in stores had picture of child with mask on box. Box has lt. aging/wear. Remnant of original mailing label on top flap. Overall VG but "Space Patrol" text displays VG. Box contains 10.5" tall clear plastic helmet with unused "Space Patrol Commander" decal showing planets and rockets above front face opening. Scattered lt. aging/wear to plastic helmet. Fine. Comes with 13x25" inflatable vinyl vest which doubles as oxygen tanks. Designed to be worn around head and shoulders. Includes thin plastic tubing. Some lt. aging. Appears unused and is overall VF.
