This is a colorful souvenir Cohama scarf inspired by the 1949 Broadway hit musical. It features printed illustrations of Juanita Hall, the original Bloody Mary in both the Broadway play and the 1958 film, famous for her haunting singing of the song "Bali Hai." In 1950, Hall became the first African American to win a Tony Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in South Pacific. The scarf measures approximately 34" inches square and is in distressed 70-year-old condition with issues-- fraying, color run, tiny pinholes, and tears at two corners. Herein, however, a rare and great Black Lives historical souvenir tribute, despite condition and suitable for framing. Sold AS IS with all faults
