South Bend 1144 Finalist , Vintage Fishing Reel - WOW THIS THING IS A BEAUTIFUL !!! Interchangeable Spool - Light Weight - Corrosion Proof - Adjustable Brake - Double Shoe Brake - Reel Diameter - 3.7 inches This was my grandfathers, it is in such excellent shape I can't tell if he ever used it or not. Either way it is in mint condition . You will be hard pressed to find one of these in better shape (I couldn't). I've been told it is a great heavy trout-bass combo reel. The Reel is a beautiful dark maroon (color in 2nd pic is more accurate). Fairly large and deep (outside frame diameter, 3.7 inches). No markings other that South Bend 1144 Finalist on white spool cap. The Case is red vinyl with white print and white vinyl piping edges. You can see in the pictures the printing is faded a little and there is a few smudges here and there but overall the case is in great shape. sorry no returns
