22.5x35" screen print. First pre-show printing intended for use to actually promote the concert. Advertising a concert in Houston, TX at The Unicorn featuring Soundgarden and Pearl Jam on Thur. April 30, 1992. Art by Frank Kozik known as the Green Lady considered his pinnacle work and the poster that ushered in the silk screen era of concert posters. This poster is more frequently seen as a numbered edition of 450, that poster was produced and sold by Kozik as a merchandising poster. The present example, according to Kozik, was done in an edition of between 100-150 delivered to the show promoter Tom Bunch of TAB to be used in the Houston area to promote attendance at the show. Besides the shorter print run and lack of signature the major difference is the three yellow stars in the background are orange on the larger edition. Damp stain at lower left corner in margin not affecting print area, corner creases and bumps and light edge wear- all of which will easily frame out. Technically Fine but once frame will display NM. Fresh color and a striking presence that will dominate any wall.
