Two great small comics from the 1940's. One is Joe Palooka in "Hi There" dated 1949, shows a thumbnail sketch of Red Cross services available to the military. The comic measures approximately 4" X 6" and is in fine condition. There is minimal rust stains around staples, color is great. The next is a Mighty Midget Comic with Captain Marvel Jr., No. 11 dated 1942, Fawcett Publications. Measures approximately 4" X 5" and is in very good condition. There is some slight staining on cover, inside pages are white. The cover is a little off center as you can see at the top of front cover in photo. Features Captain Marvel Jr in "The Iron Heel of the Nuns", "Sir Butch" and "The Return of Mr. Macabre". The back cover has "For Victory - By United States War Bonds and Stamps".
