Challen Baby Grand Piano Welcome to our piano auctions, we are a piano company with showrooms in East Midlands and Glasgow and we are happy to put to auction our Challen Baby Grand Piano. This is our very small Challen Baby Grand Piano made circa 1935. In a mahogany case, it would make a great addition to any modern or tradtional large styled property. It is 4 foot 1 inch long and 4 foot 8 inches wide. It has got a medium touch and plays responisvely, it has a equall tone through out the scale and quite mellow, giving the size of the piano. This piano has had a good history and has been well looked after. Challen manufactured pianos out of their English based factory for many decades and made thousands of quality instruments. This is a lovely small example of what they where capable of as piano makers, Challen are know to be one of the finest pianos makers to have came out of Great Britain It is well worth viewing to fully appreciate this instrument.
