Vintage Studio Pottery Vase Description and Item Information Up for sale is this vintage studio art pottery vase. Please excuse the glare in the photos. This diminutive arts and crafts style pot has a glossy, cobalt blue glaze. Below the shoulder is a band of incised floral decoration that goes all the way around the pot. This piece is about 2 5/8 inches tall and it has a maximum diameter of approximately 2 3/4 inches. Unpacked, it weighs about 1/2 pound. It would be a nice addition to a collection of studio ceramics. Identification The base of this pot is signed, "HH." Stylistically (both in glazing and decoration) this bears resemblance to pots made at the University of North Dakota School of Mines (UND / NDSM). I do not know where or when this pot was made or by whom. Condition This piece looks very good, with light wear but no chips or cracks.
