On offer is the Blue Carnation pattern creamer or small pitcher. The slightly grayish white background has the hand painted popular pattern. It is signed "CACF Faenza" and has the original sticker "Taste Setter Sigma Made In Italy". The creamer measures 3 3/4" tall to the top of the handle and and 5" from edge of handle to end of spout. It holds just under a cup of liquid and weighs 8.4 ounces. This is in excellent, possibly never used. There are at least 2 tiny bubbles in the shiny glaze. I find no crazing, cracks or other flaws. About Faenza: Faenza is by cultural tradition defined as City of the Ceramics, lies 30 miles south of Bologna in the north east part of Italy, and while an important agricultural as well as an industrial centre, it owes its renown to ceramics. History has it that Marco Polo (Venezia 1254-1324) brought the Garofano pattern from the Orient in 1279 (along with the pasta).
