American (New England), 19th century. A Sheraton chest of drawers in tiger maple with pine and chestnut secondary, having a rectangular top with a reeded edge over three aligned and two graduated drawers, each dovetailed and cockbeaded with kite-shaped escutcheons and inlaid fronts, all over a shaped apron and rising on turned legs. The back marked Samuel Hunt / Bremen OCondition:Refinished. Lock hardware removed. Replaced pulls. Damage to runner on upper left drawer. Interior drawer supports rebuilt. Legs probably replaced.Provenance:Property from the Collection of Robert and Jeanette Woodgeard, Bryan, OH
