This is a Shearwater Pottery Bust of Sissy, the wife of Walter Anderson! The bust is wonderfully molded with a Mid Century Modern style! It stands about 9" tall, 6" wide ear to ear and about 7" deep nose to back of the head. The glaze is is a wonderful creamy white ivory color. The marks are hard to read but it is marked with the SP Cipher Mark and 19 for the year of production. (See picture of bottom clay rim for details) There are a few pin prick sized glaze pops which is common with this pottery but in no way distracts from this delightful piece of art. It is free of damage and repairs. I will ship with USPS Priority Mail anywhere in the continental US.
