Sheaffer Cartridge Fountain Pen in the style of Sheaffer's famous flat-top pens of the 1920's. Condition is almost near mint. The pen is red with white swirls and has gold finished metal trim, including a gold disk atop of the cap. The pen measures 5 3/16" long with a cap diameter of about 9/16". The gold finished nib is medium and imprinted: "SHEAFFER - M - MADE IN U.S.A." All plastic and metal surfaces are smooth and shiny with no cracks, gouges, chew marks or engraved names. There is no brassing or wear on the metal parts. The clip is imprinted: "SHEAFFER'S and the top gold disk is imprinted "SHEAFFER - SHEAFFER". The pen uses Sheaffer ink cartridges (one included) and will also accept Sheaffer ink converters to use bottled ink. This is a premium model of the pen with gold trim and nib. A quality Sheaffer product; made in the U.S.A.
