This is a set of old pottery beer stein and pitcher. It is Mettlach stein #1028 named in the "Harvest" collection of Villeroy & Boch. The Pint mugs have a brown tree branch background and tree face in the lid. Overlaid on the brown tree trunk body light tan and ivory images of wheat and grapes and figures of a man and a woman carrying the fruits of their labor. All of the Steins and Pitcher have the Villeroy and Boch stamp on the bottom and are all numbered #1028. Each Mug has an etching of a Man and Woman in harvesting wheat and the Pitcher has a larger etching of a harvest scene. This is a great gift or item for anyone who appreciates good Bavarian style and Beer. It is used but in Like New condition.
