Offered is a set of four 9-3/4" Syracuse China dinner plates in the lovely "Strawberry Hill" pattern, acquired at a local estate auction. Plate edges are lightly scalloped. Like most Syracuse China made for hotels, restaurants, and railroads, these pieces are sturdy and heavy for their size. The backstamp mark "13-A" dates three of them to January 1984, and "13-B" dates the other one to February 1984. In excellent preowned condition with no cracks, chips, stains, crazing, dulling of glaze, or any other damage. A few short, light utensil marks are visible on the flat white parts when viewed at an angle in very bright light, but you really have to look for them. Great shine and bright colors! Will be shipped securely packaged in bubble wrap, nested in packing peanuts, and insured. Please note that when collecting "Strawberry Hill" you can expect some slight variation in the hue of the colored pattern. Some pieces may be closer to red, and some may be closer to pink.
