You are bidding for a matching pair of Scottish Roe deer antlers. These classic 3-point antlers are from an elderly mature buck and are between 9 and 10 inches long. These antlers are ideal for a wide range of uses and crafts including display, stick handles, taxidermy, whistles, toggles, buttons or even just curios. However, these large heavy antlers may make unusual knife handles, or perhaps fishing priests. The colour is very strong and natural and the pearling pronounced but rounded. This buck was the unfortunate victim of a road accident - one antler is split at the base to a height of about 2 inches - see photo 3. This part would glue back on easily if required and the repair would be invisible. The antlers are otherwise undamaged.Please see my other auctions for a further range of antlers.
