An original early 20th century German pottery / porcelain whiskey nip flash made by Schafer Vater which is called the Drinkometer with "THE DOCTOR" on the front and having a glass thermometer like device on the back. The flask comes with its original matching stopper and has some above the glaze writing on the side possibly indicating it was used as a souvenir originally. The flask measures approximately 5 3/4" tall. Condition - flask and stopper are perfect being free of any chips, cracks, stains etc. The clear glass thermometer like device on the reverse has lost its bottom section as shown. Flask is completely fresh to the market from a older local estate.
